About the game

Most fishing games stop at the bobber. TideBound follows the lure down: the camera goes under with it, and you watch the fish notice, circle and commit. A bite is something you see coming, not a random timer.

Every fish fights in its own way. Runs, jumps, head-shakes, dives into the weed: each move has a tell you learn to read, and a counter you have to time. Big fish tire you out; bosses arrive in the middle of a fight and take the fish you were landing.

Each water has its own weather and hours: storms roll in, and many fish feed only at dawn, by day, at dusk or at night. Four mentors along the way teach techniques that turn a fight. At the end waits the Shelf, where every angler gets the same rod and races a great white against the clock for a weekly leaderboard.
